Adam Lurie

Adam Lurie joined Knexus as the CEO in 2023, following the acquisition of the company and is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction and execution. With a 20+ year background as a government solutions executive, Adam has a proven track record of building and growing businesses through the deployment of innovative technology to the federal government.
Prior to Knexus, Adam was the President of Exiger Federal Solutions, where he grew the business over 10x in a 2-year period after successfully launching their Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) product. The launch exposed Exiger to a previously untapped market that led to massive, sustained growth. Adam joined Exiger via the acquisition of Convergent Solutions where he was the Chief Executive Officer. Here, he leveraged his unique expertise in growing federal businesses to lead Convergent to and through its acquisition to a private ownership group, strengthening the business operations and positioning it’s sale to Exiger. Before his appointment at Convergent, Adam served as an executive at CSRA, GDIT and Haystax Technology, delivering double-digit growth in his business areas focused on risk mitigation solutions in the Continuous Evaluation, Background Investigation, Personnel Vetting & Insider Threat arena.
Prior to Haystax, Adam was the Vice President of Government Solutions at Social Intelligence Corp. Adam launched the federal business of Social Intelligence and ran it until its acquisition to Omniplex World Services in 2016. In this role, he worked with various government organizations to understand exactly how social media could play a role in the security clearance and background investigative process and was responsible for all program operations, strategy, client management and business development. He developed the first social media security clearance product and implemented the first Social Media Continuous Evaluation program within the U.S. Government.
Prior to Social Intelligence, Adam worked at USIS, where he served for 10 years in their Investigative Services Division. He served as a Program Director and ran USIS’ intelligence community programs within the investigative division. His problem-solving techniques led to the adoption of multiple innovative strategies that his U.S. government clients were able to implement. He oversaw the consistent addition of technological improvements into the security clearance process, helping to increase the timeliness of federal background investigations. In addition, Adam helped stand up an intelligence community organization’s background investigative program after the organization received delegated authority to perform the investigative function. In addition, he held numerous roles in investigative field management and in 2007, received the CEO Award for outstanding achievement.
Adam serves on the Board of Trustees for the Intelligence and National Security Foundation (INSF), a non-profit focused on strengthening the role and value of intelligence for our nation’s security. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Sociology from the George Washington University and a Master of Science degree in Justice, Law & Society from American University.
